Founder + Creative Director

I know how crazy it can be to “do life” while planning your wedding. When your day dreams are focused on the endless wedding details and possibilities, with thoughts of forgetting one of them making you restless at night! With over a decade of experience designing and creating wedding and event florals, I will help ease that anxiety and bring your vision to life.

My story started with a hunt for adventure and warmth. Born and raised in Newport, RI, I was always cold! I headed to college in Charleston, SC, where I’d graduate with a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Studio Arts. Following graduation, I continued my journey farther south to St Petersburg, FL. I quickly fell in love with the Florida lifestyle, with days spent beachside and windsurfing. After a few years, I sought out my next adventure in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

While there, I took a job working for an incredibly talented event florist. My first day was like a strike of lightning! I knew that I’d found my life’s passion. I learned & soaked in as much as I could day in and day out- a true labor of love. Soon though, my heart yearned for the warmer Florida winters. I packed up my things and headed back to St Petersburg, where I’d soon start this little business of mine in the back of my garage!

What a journey it has been since then… thirteen years later! In looking back, it’s truly been all about the relationships I’ve built through the years. I have had the utmost pleasure of meeting and working with many hundreds of couples embarking on their lives together and trusting 2Birds to bring their floral vision to life. We’ve been privileged to work at some of the most beautiful venues throughout Tampa Bay and alongside so many phenomenal vendors who are all doing what they love! I’ve been honored to lead and work with an immensely hard working and talented team. Each year 2Birds Events has evolved, tackled challenges, and blossomed into where we are today- nestled into our beautiful studio space.
